Journal of Forensic Science Research and Education, Helix aims to advance international forensic science research and education by publishing rigorously peer-reviewed articles, case studies, and technical reports to provide a forum for the exchange of ideas, research, and methodology. Topics are multidisciplinary and offer insight on biochemical and chemical analysis, ballistics, projectiles, and wounds, documentation, breath analysis, fingerprints and identification, contact traces, poisoning and toxicology, and the application of analytical, physical, chemical, and instrumentation techniques relevant to the instruction and practice of forensic science. The audience includes medical practitioners, criminal justice investigators, policymakers, and researchers at academic, public, and private institutions.
